Kalah Tetap Kalah

Assalamualaikum wbt. Salam Sejahtera.

1. The results of the by-election in Bukit Gantang, Batang Air and Bukit Selambau had been announced. Everybody knows the decisions as PKR won in Bukit Selambau, PAS won in Bukit Gantang and Barisan Nasional still holding the Batang Air Dewan Undangan Negeri seat. Congratulations to the BN contingent that had been very hardworking during the election campaign session.

2. I dont think that this by-elections had shown the totally rejection of BN by the people. Yes, BN lost at Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang but this is not showing the totally rejection of BN by rakyat.

3. In Bukit Gantang, the majority won by PAS candidate, Datuk Seri Nizar is only 2789 votes. With the capacity as the ex-Menteri Besar of Perak and also as a popular "Mohon Derhaka", he should won the Bukit Gantang seat with more votes of majority as happened in the by-election of Permatang Pauh which Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim defeated Datuk Arif Syah Omar with double ratio of majority. Datuk Seri Anwar won 30,000(range) and Datuk Arif won 15,000(range).

4. We can see that in this Bukit Gantang by-election, a big shot which is Datuk Seri Nizar did not win the competition easily. A layman which is not as popular as Datuk Seri Nizar, Mr. Ismail Saffian got 19,000(range) votes and this shows that almost 20,000 rakyat of Bukit Gantang rejected their ex-Menteri Besar.

5. It is not a large amount, with the capacity and popularity that Nizar has, he should win more like Datuk Seri Anwar did in Permatang Pauh by-election. In addition, PAS were the holder of the Bukit Gantang seat before and this shows that this time PAS did not win the competition easily. Although, the opposition sides lead by Datuk Seri Anwar always mentioning that BN is not relevant anymore, it did not affect the average of 19,000 rakyat to reject BN but still accepting this collision. Whatever it is, BN tetap kalah. Kalah tetap kalah.

6. Personally, I was quite shock with the loosing of Barisan Nasional in Bukit Selambau.

7. This by-elections also had sent a message to UMNO and Barisan Nasional that rakyat will still give them a chance. Surely, although BN did not lost with a high majority, kalah tetap kalah and of course there is a hikmah behind all this event.

salam saudara..

i agree with your statement.. kalah tetap kalah.

for your information, before this election, hj roslan sharum was the mp for bkt gantang. he won and the majority was not to big. around 1600 votes.

and now, dato seri ir nizar won again with more majority. 2789 votes. if you compare dato seri nizar with dato' seri anwar ibrahim, it was very unfair. dato' seri dr wan azizah won with a big majority. around 12800. dsai won around 15000.. but, the point here is every election, the majority always increase..

it is a very clear signal to barisan nasional and umno. before this, many peolple in umno and bn blame paklah. but now, after najib became the pm, why bn and umno still did'nt win?? take time and think it deeply..

the results didnt show the view of malaysians actually.

the results merely showed the views of Perakians..they support nizar even he is not a local there..supporting nizar,in other words, means supporting PKR,rejecting BN.
