KJ-Khir-Mukhriz(Lambang Kepimpinan Masa Depan UMNO)

Semoga Allah swt memberkati perjuangan kita semua.

Yes representing a more corrupt and feudalistic party, which encourages nepotism by subrogating post to blood related cronies known for their ignorance of the rule of law, a party of fascism for which their very foundation would be clearly against the whole concept and principle of equality in Islam. I wont be surprise if their party’s constitution is the infamous “mein kampf” in disguise. Oh ya the umno elections also represent the flaws in the ridiculous political doctrine of the British Westminster system, where through a vaguely stringent ( ya right!) legal loophole one could simply come into power, thus ignoring the legitimate democratic expectation of the general public. Wow, awesome I totally agree they should be congratulated they represent a corrupt colonial relic that survive the testament of time, well like the saying goes “bad habits die hard”, and Malaysia do have lots of emm, no wonder we are still considered a 3rd world country.

i agree with you if it's true that the new leaders are involved in corruption. but, based on the principle of Islamic law system, "no one is guilty untill they have been proved guilty".

Danial Izzat Zulbahari said...

so why dont we just think positive of the appointment of the new UMNO leaders.

milow90,
i guess u have to do your rserch first before you talk.

now, im asking you, what's your proof by saying that KJ's win is by money??

are you doing a fitna here?

Yes I would agree with you that one is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty, however it is also important to respect the rule of law, and that everyone should be treated as equals including elected representatives, and that they should not hide behind the façade of electoral power, and this is what’s happening in Malaysia. However I think u r missing the point, I was referring to the fact that the party itself is corrupted in a philosophical sense of their principles and purpose, ergo whether the members are involve in the legal sense of corruption (not that of moral one ) that is an entirely different issue all together. Though since you brought that up, lets talk about it.

If u want to discuss about the Islamic legal system you should know very well that one of the important principles of sharia is equality, for which umno is known not to be entirely about, and have a notorious reputation to be against. If you would like me to draft a rough comparison of umno versus the principles of equality in islam, and vice versa, I would glad to do so with several significant references to nas and dalils from the Quran and Hadith, in relation to the current feqah, and well known religious authorities.

Anyways how do you reckon that they would be legitimately tried in respect to the principle of “presumption of innocence” vis-à-vis “ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat “, when there exist clear unjustifiable overlaps between the 3 major organs of the state, and the accountability that Montesquieu address in De l’espirt deslois does not exist, or very well put in sheer practice in Malaysia, what makes you think that we have total independence of judiciary when the executive tends to frequently intervene in the judicial process for their own corrupt purposes, whether discretely or otherwise, thus abusing their position as regulators. Hence in relation to that, how do you think the courts would be able to function accordingly and upheld the principle of Veritas et Aequitas in respect of Nemo judex in causa’sua, and legitimate expectation in Malaysia, in regards to the fellow politicians. I haven’t even gotten started with the 1988 constitutional crisis, the later scenarios, memorabilia, and how it affected the judicial integrity in Malaysia, and no matter what Zaid Ibrahim recently commented, even he can’t assure that it won’t happen again.

Well simply put it this way, “power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”,

Quid pro quo, do comment on that
